Peacefully at home on Thursday May 3, 2018 at the age of 71. Loving husband of Barbara. Robert will be remembered by his daughters Debbie (Corey Smith) and Valerie. Predeceased by his parents Firmin Mitchell and Gwen Beaudet. Brother of Linda, Lois (Roy), Brian, Mark (Diane) and the late Alex. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, as well as all his relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A chapel service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery Chapel (Corner of People’s Rd and 4th Line) on Wednesday May 9, 2018 at 11:00am. The family would like to thank all the PSW’S form CBI, the Paramedics and all the nurses and doctors of the 3rd floor at the Sault Area Hospital. Memorial donations may be made to ARCH or the Cancer Society of Sault Ste Marie.
