Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday March 11, 2018, Anja Makkonen at the age of 83. Cherished Mother of Harry (Diane), Paul and Helena Love (Dan). Mummo of Jake, Alex and Ben Love and Nolan and Katja Makkonen. Anja will be remembered by her dear friends Anja, Arja and Brenda as well as many other friends in Canada and family and friends in Finland. As per Anja’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank ER nurse, Corey and ICU nurses, Erica and Ann at the Sault Area Hospital for the care and compassion given to Anja. Memorial donations may be made to Sault Ste.
