It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Nora Kathleen Kowalyk (McMullin) at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday January 29, 2018, at the age of 79. Loving wife of David Kowalyk. Mother of Carol Wishman (Kowalyk), Paul Kowalyk (Shari) and the late David Kowalyk Jr. Grandma of Ally and David Kowalyk, Matthew Conway (Brea), Melissa Metallo (Antonio), Amanda Huber (Matthew) and Alex and Eric Kowalyk. Great grandma of Lilliana and Lyla Hubert. Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Eleanor McMullin. Dear sister of Ruth McGruer (Thomas), Alan McMullin (Annis) and Rosemary Pinnell (Wayne). Predeceased by her brothers Clayton McMullin (late Josephine), Robert McMullin (late Wilma), her sisters Margaret Koivisto (late Onni), Enid McMullin, Miriam Pinder (late Robert), Joy Bye (Joe) and Carol McMullin. Sister-in-law of Hope Prystanski (Dennis) of Kakabeka Falls, Ontario, Eugene Kowalyk (Alice) of Vermillion Bay Ontario and Peter Kowalyk (Sandra) of Winnipeg Manitoba. Very special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend at O`Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Sunday February 4, 2018 from 6:00pm-9:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary`s Ukrainian Catholic Church on Monday February 5, 2018 at 10:00am with Rev. Jaroslaw Lazoryk officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be St. Mary`s Ukrainian Catholic Church.
