Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday January 30, 2018, at the age of 87 was reunited with her late husband Roy Beaver. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children Dan Beaver, Bruce Beaver and Terri Lynn Coulis (Jim). Affectionately known as Lady or Sue to her grandchildren Erin Luijkx, Andrew and Lucas Beaver, and Jeremy (Stacy) and Jillian Coulis (Al Watson) as well as her great grandchildren Ben, Adam and Olivia Luijkx and Jenna and Amanda Coulis. Mary was a graduate of the Native Language Instructor Program at Lakehead University and shared her love of Ojibwe language with many students over the years. Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass at Precious Blood Cathedral on Saturday February 3, 2018 at 2:00pm with Father Arulkumar officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Moose Lodge, 543 Trunk Rd from 4-7. The family would like to thank the staff and the doctors of 3C, OT, and PT at the Sault Area Hospital for the care given to Mary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARCH.
