MacDonald, Myrtle Lillian (nee Buffy)-
Peacefully at home on January 29, 2018 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario at the age of 90. Daughter of the late Andrew Buffy and Maude (nee Atley). Predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years, Charlie and her son Michael (Penny). After raising a family in Toronto, Charlie and Myrt moved to the land Charlie loved, "Cape Breton", living in Dunvegan for over 25 years. Myrt moved to Sault Ste. Marie to live her son John and his family 2016. Predeceased by sisters, Maude, Madeline, Margaret, Thelma, Dorothy and brother Harold. Survived by her sister Ruth and her brothers, Earl and Billy. Myrtle will be deeply missed by her daughter, Sharon (Robert Stanley) and sons, Charles (Irene) and John (Arlene). Forever remembered by her grandchildren, Amanda, Robyn, Christopher, Kevin, Sheila, Sean and her great grandchildren, Connor and Ryan. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. In keeping with Myrtle's wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
