Obituary for Rose Marie LaBerge (Trudel)

November 25, 1936 – November 17, 2017
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rose LaBerge (Trudel). She passed peacefully with her daughters by her side at the Sault Area Hospital on November 17, 2017 in her 81st year. Rose is predeceased by her loving husband and best friend of 48 years, Fred LaBerge.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Yvette Leonard (Dave) and Lee-Anne Davidson (Tom). Loving Nana to Jessika MacRae (Tyler), Jake Leonard, Nick Guitard (Sarah) and Steve Leonard.
Great Nana (G-Nan) to Cadeon MacRae and Jaylynn Principe- Leonard.
Daughter of the late Pearl and Arthur Trudel. Sister of Betty Robertson (Happy), the late Patricia Raycroft, the late Wilma Trudel, the late Marion Trudel and the late Diane Trudel.
Daughter in law of the late Yvette and Albert LaBerge. Sister in law of the late Ted & Lynne LaBerge, the late Carmel & Westly Masters, Barbara & the late Tod Byers, the late Yvonne & Wayne Moreau and Johnny LaBerge.
Special niece and extended sister to Joyce Shaw. Lifelong friend and extended sister to Jean Collar. Rose will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and as well as many special friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Hill, Cindy and all the caring staff and volunteers at the SAH Cancer Unit for your care, concern, guidance and support. Also the staff and nurses at Kotitalo Finnish Resthome, the care and support you provided was greatly appreciated. Special thank you to Dr. Nadia Bowen, Dr. Nikki Apostle, Dr. Booth and as well as SAH 3C staff, especially Dan and Dave, your compassion and caring for our mom in her last days will never be forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to join us in a celebration of Rose’s life on Wednesday November 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. at East Korah Maxwell United Church, 4 Fourth Line East. Service to Commence at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at 11:30 a.m. Gathering for food, refreshments, love and laughter will take place afterwards at East Korah Maxwell United Church.
