Slater, G. Ruth (nee Hardbottle) –
Passed away unexpectedly at Cedarwood on September 26, 2017 in her 93rd year. Born in Sault Ste. Marie on March 5, 1925. Predeceased by her loving husband Stanley Slater. Remembered by son, Mark Slater. Grandmother of Lee and Scott. Adored by her sister, late Marion (Harold) Hull. Daughter of the late George and Christina Hardbottle. Aunt to Karen – Ruth (Audie) Ditchun, Randal (Slavica) Hull, David (Yvonne) Hull, Warren (Helle) Hull, Christine (late Ernest) Skinner, Shelley (Kenneth) Robinson and many great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westminster Choir and Victim Services. Family and friends may call at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (corner of Cathcart and St. James St.) on Wednesday October 4, 2017 from 10 – 12 p.m.. Interment to follow.
