Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday July 14, 2017 at the age of 65, with his family by his side. Caring partner of Alinda Swanson for 24 years. Jerry (Joe) will be loving remembered by his daughter Kimberley Evans and his step daughter Nancy (Mark) Dolan. Grandpa of Shawn and Jacob. Great grandfather of Ariah and Gemma. Predeceased by his parents John and Genevieve and his brother Len. He will be missed by his sister Lucy (John) Crouse, his nieces and nephew, Sherry, Steven and Jenifer, as well by the McMinn family. He was a wonderful man with his Newfie wit, great sense of humour and he loved to help others! The family would like to thank the Elks of Canada-Northern Ontario, the Sault Area Hospital ICU and Suzie for the care and compassion given to Jerry (Joe).
