O’Neill, Mary Alice—
It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my dear sister, Mary Alice. On Thursday June 1, 2017 at the age of 81. Mary Alice was the daughter of the late George and Belle McEachern. Sister of Shirley Voorhees (late Arthur) of Scottsdale, Arizona. Predeceased by brothers Don McEachern (Betty) and Glen McEachern of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She was a beloved aunt to Paula Swatty (Chris) and Cynthia Everst (Dan), Don McEachern (Joyce) of Southern Ontario and Chris Brooks (Doug) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She touched the hearts of many great nieces and nephews, especially Christopher and James Swatty of Scottsdale, Arizona and Stephanie Campbell of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
Mary Alice was a registered nurse and worked for many years in Bermuda and various locations in Canada’s far north as well as the Plummer Memorial Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie. She had many wonderful friends and will be sorely missed.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday June 10, 2017 at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (corner of Cathcart and St. James Street) from 1 – 2 p.m. with a service to follow at 2 p.m.. A gathering will take place following the service upstairs at the O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre.
My family and I would like to express a special thank you to her great niece, Stephanie and her wonderful friends Elaine, Fran, Cathy and Josie for all their tireless help during this difficult time.
