At London Health Sciences Centre,Victoria Hospital on Monday January 9, 2017 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of 62 years to the late Virginia Cavalini (Tonon). Lovingly remembered by his children Catherine and Vivian of Mississauga and Valerie (Rick) of London, Ontario. Son of the late Giuseppe and Amalia Cavalini. Predeceased by his sisters Ines Tonello (Bert), Elda Antonioli (Ted), Rose Garvin (John), Mary DeLuca (Tony), Delphine Bourgeois (Edmond). Ed moved to a retirement home in London, Ontario in 2013 and then spent the last two and a half years at a Long Term Care Home where his three daughters advocated and cared for him. He worked at Algoma Steel for 38 years and his proudest achievement was building two homes for his family. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to call at the O'Sullivan Funeral Home (corner of Cathcart and St. James Sts.) on Saturday, May 27 from 1:00 to 3:30 pm for a Celebration of Edward's life. A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada (ONTARIO) or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
