We regret to announce the passing of Oscar Lawrence Nelson, on Thursday May 18, 2017 in his 86th year. Peacefully with family and friends by his side. Never has a man so generous graced the earth. A man whose welcoming door was always open to all. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn Louise Nelson (nee Faux). Father to Michael Nelson, Laureen Nelson (Mike) and Susan Nelson See (Billy). Brother to Verena Newman (Dave) and Albert (Mousey) Nelson (Jenny). Predeceased by brothers Arthur Nelson, Rudolph (Plug) Nelson, George Nelson (late Chris), Ben Nelson (late Bernice) and his sisters Irene Heitala and Ruth Zaffini (late Ed). Dear Papa to Krystyn Peterson (Mike), Jamie (Brittany), Brandon and Marc Penno. Cherished Great Papa to Kaydance, Aydrielle, Dallas and Treasure. Special thanks to Marvin and Donna Cress for their undivided and never ending support and friendship throughout and the staff at the F.J. Davey Home Cedar Grove 3 for the exceptional care and kindness. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday May 27, 2017 in the garage at 667 Second Line West from 3 till 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the F.J. Davey Home will be appreciated.
