Condolence: I was just notified of Kelly-Ann's death today when I saw the sign at the allotment gardens at Davie and Burrard announcing her memorial. I knew Kelly-Ann through conversations in our elevator, on the street, sitting on the marble stairs at the entrance to our building. And tho we were only acquaintances our conversations were honest, heart-felt. So much so that I know she had not had an easy go of life. When she took off on her wondrous road trip in her new truck last year I was SO happy for her. I was sad to learn she was moving but so happy for her that she was starting a new part of her life and she was so pleased for this. Now to hear of her death is devastating. I am so sorry for the family, but most of all for Kelly-Ann who seemed to have taken the happy road at long last. God keep this lovely soul. She was good and kind and I weep to hear of this loss to the world. I hope she knew how lovely she was.

Condolence: Kelly, although years have passed, your memory does not fade.

Thank you for sharing all your thoughts with me and thank you for all the good memories through our university years.

You were always larger than life itself, in your passing you will be the brightest star up above.

All those times listening to our favourite band I can truly say now, "Wish you were Here"...listening to the tape recording over and over together I can still hear and see your smile singing "Hey now Hey now, don't dream it's over..." Rest in Peace Kelly.

Henry

Condolence: Kelly was an amazing person. She walked up to me one day about 20 years ago and asked me to go for coffee, out of the blue. And her great smile made me say yes. I'm glad I did. She was a fine friend to talk books with, share coffee (she loved her Starbucks) and discuss the meaning of life.

Condolence: To Ann Sullivan who posted earlier here. I met Kelly when we were 17. I know how important you were to Kelly and that you literally saved her life and provided true guidance to her during such difficult times.

To Kelly's friends - that woman was the physically strongest I have ever known (paddling with her was like having a motor at the back of the canoe), whip smart and so loving and loyal. A true lover of the outdoors and a fighter in every regard. Wishing her the peace she deserves whatever its form.

Condolence: I have just received news of your passing Kelly. I am so deeply, deeply saddened. You will forever live in my heart and in my most fond memories of laughing, working and growing up at Esker Lakes together. It was a gift to have literally run into you in Vancouver a few years back. My ribs are still sore from the laughter. To have a bond that time does not break is special - and how I felt that April day in 2010 - picking up where we left off -not missing a beat. To Kelly's family and friends please accept my heart felt condolences at this difficult time. You are in my thoughts and in my heart at this difficult time.

Condolence: I am absolutely shocked of this tragedy. We spoke on February 13, 2017 and were excited to see each other on Kelly's venture back to Vancouver in David's company. I have known Kelly for 5 years as she was my tenant and also a dear friend. We shared life stories together. It was easy to talk to her as we had same life values. She gave me a moral support through my cancer treatments. I will miss her dearly, she has a special place in my heart.
My condolences to her family. Love and light, Hana

Condolence: Kelly had a special zest for life, a sparkle in her eyes. She was Wise beyond her years. On her spiritual journey I was fortunate to meet her. It is so heartbreaking her journey was cut short but her soul was unbreakable and she now lives on. Condolences to her family and friend Cathy whom Kelly spoke so well off.
