Ron passed away December 11, 2016 at the age of 86 after a short illness. A devoted husband and family man. Remembering him with love are June, the love of his life for 65 years, his children Mike (Marilyn), Pat (Margaret), Trish, Ruth Bradley (Terry), Gail Lane (Cameron), grandchildren Dennis & Leila, Cathy Wood & Carly Tomas (Rick), Amanda Gauthier (Pierre), Courtney & Trevor Bradley, Annika & Téa Lane, great grandchildren Cooper, Miila, Bailey Emmett, Aja, Karson, Warren, Calvin, Lily Lucas, extended family and long-time friends. Predeceased by his beloved son Frank (Violet), daughter-in-law Judy & grandson James. Ron and family are very grateful to have niece Theresa Artuso-Guild and sister Lorry Somers in their lives. Ron prized above all else being with family with whom he shared and bequeathed his passions: snowmobiling, ice fishing, camping, Greyhound games, going for a drive, beach days, backyard rinks, hockey, travelling, country music, playing cards, woodworking and time together. He had a deep love of race cars, building them, fixing them and making them go fast. He could find a racetrack in any town. Proudly a “jack of all trades, master of none”. He started life humbly and became rich in family & love. Thank you to Dr. Rossi, Dr. Taylor, nurses on 300A, and staff at Great Northern Retirement Home for their compassion & care.
