Condolence: Dear Cheryl,
Like many a youngster growing up on the slopes of Searchmont your Dad is the stuff of legends. We would ski too fast, leave our safety bar up and, weirdly, hope he would catch us. Sometimes he threatened to take our tickets and, I think mostly in jest, he'd even make an attempt to catch us. He was dedicated to making the ski hill a safe place. His booming voice was pretty scary sometimes but as we grew up he smiled more often and let things go. I am sorry for your loss and hope your memories of him will bring a smile. They do for me.

I love the picture that you picked of your Dad. It reminds me of the fun man from my childhood. The man that I ran to meet in my rubber boots announcing all the way "Rays home Mom! Rays home!". It reminds me of the ski weekends at the chalet and snowmobile rides and later when he taught me how to golf. I have many fond memories of your parents. I will always cherish them.
In my heart I know that he is now that man in the picture once again and reunited with your Mom. I can picture our Moms giving him the gears and some how it makes things better.
Remember the good times and cherish them.
